12 Virtues that Open Doors to the Essence / Keys to the Journey of Wisdom

Dear Wisdom traveler and fellow Traveler,

In this meaningful journey of discovery that we are embarking on together with you, we would like to delve into the inner depths of the human being and examine together the 12 Virtues that constitute the essence of our existence. Our philosophical inquiries, psychological deepening and the lore-filled atmosphere of Sufism, guided by the Wisdom of Axoy Ra, will further illuminate the meaning of these virtues and their manifestations in our lives.
These 12 Virtues are not just abstract concepts, they are the locks that will unlock our inner potential and lead us to a more whole and meaningful existence. The first six of these virtues form the foundation of this journey, while the next six are the expression of the maturity and integrity that will rise on this solid foundation. Each of us who internalizes the first six virtues will prepare the ground on which the other six virtues will naturally flourish in our lives over time.

First Steps of the Journey: Fundamental Virtues

  1. Loyalty (Depth and Strength of Commitment): Loyalty, beyond the literal meaning of the word, refers to a sincere, unwavering commitment. Our first step on this journey is our deep faith and commitment to the wisdom offered by those who guide us. It also includes our sincere commitment to the totality of existence and to all our fellow travelers within that totality. Loyalty is a sacred bond that holds us together and fosters feelings of trust and solidarity.
  2. Renunciation (The Price of Liberation: The Wisdom of Renunciation): Renunciation is the maturity to give up what we have of our own free will. This includes not only the liberation from our bodily pleasures and desires, but also from our greed for possessions, our habits and conditioning that limit us. More than that, it means having the courage to break free from worldly bonds by generously sharing our material and spiritual possessions for the sake of the sublime truths to which we have dedicated our existence. Renunciation is an act that lightens our spirit and brings us to a higher realization.
  3. Zakat (The Blessing of Sharing and the Way of Purification): Zakat is the sharing of a certain proportion of our material possessions with those in need, both to purify our wealth and to contribute to social balance. This virtue is the antidote to selfishness and the expression of generosity. Zakat is not only a material sharing, but also a way of opening our hearts and striving for the good of others.
  4. Obedience (The Power of Harmony and the Peace of Submission): Obedience is not just blind submission, but respect and trust in guidance offered with wisdom and love. It involves conformity to universal laws, moral principles and the wise words of our guides. Obedience is the key to taming our ego, realizing that we are part of a greater order and finding inner peace.
  5. Eloquence (The Light of Meaning and the Art of Communication): Eloquence is the expression of the word in a way that is not only accurate, but also beautiful, effective and appropriate to the situation of the interlocutor. This virtue develops the ability to capture the essence of our thoughts and convey them in the most understandable and expressive way. Rhetoric enables us to build bridges from heart to heart, to share information accurately and effectively, and thus to meet on a common ground of understanding.
  6. Atakat (Dynamism of Action and the Importance of Active Participation): Atakat is not only physical agility, but also mental vitality and a willingness to take an active role in any task. This virtue expresses an intrinsic motivation to constantly learn, develop and serve. It means being consciously and physically in a constant state of “attack”, i.e. being proactive, taking responsibility and always ready to contribute to the best of one’s ability.

The Bridge to Maturity: Integrative Virtues

As we internalize these first six virtues, a deeper maturity and balance begins to develop in our consciousness. At that point, the next six virtues begin to sprout naturally from this solid foundation:

  1. Salahat (Radiance of Purification and Peace of Purity): Salahat is a state of inner cleansing, purified from all negative tendencies and negativity. This means atoning for our past mistakes, getting rid of our burdens and becoming lighter. Salahat refers to a state of inner clarity and peace.
  2. Kemalat (Perfection of Knowledge and Morals): Kemalat is the attainment of human maturity in both knowledge and moral beauty. It refers to having the seriousness, dignity and depth of understanding to advance on the path of Maveni. Kemalat is achieved through constant learning, self-improvement, and striving to lead a virtuous life.
  3. Felahat (Liberation from the bondage of the nafs and attainment of freedom): Felahat is the attainment of true freedom from the limiting influence of the nafs and all forms of bondage. This means taking control of our inner desires, being free from our attachments and realizing the full potential of our soul. Felahat is a state of inner liberation and enlightenment.
  4. Jawwalat (Harmony with the Rhythm of Life and Readiness at Every Moment): Jawwalat is the state of being active, alive and prepared for all tasks at all times. This means adapting to the dynamism of life, directing our energy in the right direction and being resilient to any challenge. Cevvalat means constant alertness and enthusiasm for life.
  5. Companionship (The Value of Comradeship and Support): Accompaniment means to accompany, support and shoulder each other on this journey. It means knowing that we are not alone, sharing love and solidarity and becoming stronger together. Companionship is one of the most beautiful and meaningful expressions of being human.
  6. Kelimat (Source of Meaning Creation and Power of Expression): Kelimat is not only the ability to speak, but also the power to understand and express ourselves and the universe through meaningful and effective expressions. This in-depth exploration with you and the knowledge we will gain from the Axoy Ra Wisdom teachings, together with the secrets of Truth, will give new meaning and depth to our words. Words are a sacred tool that shapes our thoughts, expresses our emotions and forms the basis of our connection with the world, an expression of our Essential manifestation.

In order to deeply integrate these precious virtues we discovered in the text “12 Virtues Keys to the Journey to the Essence” into our lives and to transform this wisdom into concrete experiences, I invite you to a special 12-week transformation program. By focusing on one virtue each week, this program aims to help you understand the meaning of these qualities more deeply, discover how to manifest them in your daily life and experience an inner transformation.

Throughout these 12 weeks, we will blend the philosophical, psychological and mystical perspectives we have shared with you with the guidance of the Axoy Ra Wisdom teaching to understand the essence of each virtue. Each week, you will embark on a journey into your inner world through mindfulness exercises, meditations, contemplative exercises and practical applications related to that virtue.

Dear friend, these 12 virtues are the keys to the infinite potential waiting to be unlocked in our inner world. Each step we take on this journey will bring us a little closer to the depths of our essence. Let us not forget that this is a process and each of us is moving at our own pace. The important thing is to place these virtues at the center of our lives and strive to keep them alive at every moment.

In this meaningful journey we embark on together, may the light of the quest in our hearts never go out. Wishing you a life full of love, wisdom and virtue…
